Do you offer exchanges?

No, we do not offer exchanges on your order due to carrying limited stock and a lot of one of a kind pieces. If you order the incorrect size in something, we do suggest you re-purchase this item and return the incorrect size to us for a refund or store credit to avoid dissapointment. 

What is burnout velvet?

The "Burnout Velvet" or Devore is a beautiful process involving a mixed chemical being painted or printed onto the silk fabric. It melts away the velvet in certain areas leaving the beautiful sheer silk behind.

Where are you located?
Australia. We are based in a small coastal town Called Newcastle in NSW.

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes we sure do! 

How long will it take to receive my order?
All items are shipped within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or public holidays. You will be provided with a tracking number upon your order being shipped. All items are shipped via Australia Post. International orders are shipped via registered post and may require a signature on delivery. 

How do I wash my velvet Kimono?
We personally steam every kimono before we send it out, but sometimes they can get a little crinkled from being folded in the post. Give yours a steam (including the fringing) if you can before wearing it for best results. Our silk rayon burnout velvet kimonos are very delicate and are dry clean only. Please do not wash them in a washing machine! If you must, rinse in cold water and leave to dry on a flat elevated surface.

What is After Pay?
AfterPay Afterpay is a safe, alternative option for shoppers to pay via simple instalments. Purchases will be paid for in 4 equal instalments, due every fortnight, interest free and no hidden charges! First-time customers provide payment details as usual, returning customers simply log in to make their purchase.  

After you check out we will ship the goods to you. At any time, you can log in to your Afterpay account to see your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date. Otherwise they will automatically deduct the instalments from your debit or credit card every fortnight. How to do it?:

  2. Get instant approval
  3. Pay across 4 equal instalments
  4. All you need is an Australian Visa or Mastercard debit/credit card, be 18 years old or over, and must be living in Australia.

What do you mean by vintage?
We source our vintage items from all over the world and endeavour to provide an accurate product description (faults included) please read all descriptions carefully as all vintage items are one off and have been worn in another life. All vintage sales are FINAL. We DO NOT accept returns or refunds on vintage items. Please be sure to read our Terms and Conditions carefully. 

Do you stock non-vintage items too?

We do! We stock a small amount of other small businesses and brands that we buy at a wholesale rate and sell online! 

How can I tell the difference between vintage and non-vintage items on your store?

Vintage items will always have the word "Vintage" in the listing title. We stock a range of non-vintage items such as sunglasses, hair accessories, clothing etc. All of these items are in limited quantities and are brand new and not at all vintage.

I don't like my item, can I return it?
Yes! But there are some terms and conditions. Please see SHIPPING & RETURNS

We sure do! You can purchase here.

How do credit notes work?

Store credits, and credit notes are unique codes that may be applied at the checkout. You will receive a store credit if you elected to do so when returning a parcel. Please keep your store credit number safe and treat it like cash! It may be hard to retrieve if lost by the customer. 

I didn't receive my order confirmation email or tracking advice?

Be sure to check your spam or junk folder! Make sure you move the email into your inbox and mark us as 'safe' so you don't miss another notification from us. If you still have not received this, please be sure to email us
